Basic ingredients for pang yang chicken

  • Chicken 2 1/2 lbs

  • One tsp ginger paste
  • One cup of ap flour
  • Three tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup water Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Two tbsp gochujang
  • Two tbsp soy sauce
  • One tbsp vinegar
  • Three tbsp ketchup
  • One tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • One tsp green onion

How to make pang yang chicken

  • Mix the chicken wings with mustard powder, salt, and ginger paste. For 30 minutes, marinate. Mix ap flour and cornflour in a bowl. Add salt and water to taste.
  • In a bowl, combine the batter and coat the chicken pieces. Cook in oil for 6 minutes at 350F. Make sauce in a separate saucepan by adding oil, garlic mince, soy sauce vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce.
  • In a separate pan, combine sauce ingredients. Add fried chicken to the sauce. Serve with fresh green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
