Basic ingredients for pang yang chicken
- Chicken 2 1/2 lbs
- chicken wings
- One tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- One tsp ginger paste
- One cup of ap flour
- Three tbsp cornflour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup water Sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- Two tbsp gochujang
- Two tbsp soy sauce
- One tbsp vinegar
- Three tbsp ketchup
- One tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- One tsp green onion
How to make pang yang chicken
- Mix the chicken wings with mustard powder, salt, and ginger paste. For 30 minutes, marinate. Mix ap flour and cornflour in a bowl. Add salt and water to taste.
- In a bowl, combine the batter and coat the chicken pieces. Cook in oil for 6 minutes at 350F. Make sauce in a separate saucepan by adding oil, garlic mince, soy sauce vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce.
- In a separate pan, combine sauce ingredients. Add fried chicken to the sauce. Serve with fresh green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
