Basic ingredients for mary berry steak and kidney pie recipe

  • 4 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 150g butter

  • The 3/4-inch dough should be rolled out to fit the base and sides of a 1.5-liter casserole.
  • The kidney mixture should be added to the dish. The pastry should be rolled to fit the pie.
  • Use a fork to pinch the pastry onto the pie. Finally, brush the pastry with an egg.
  • Now Bake at 180C for 40-50mins, or until golden brown and cooked through.
