  • 1 cup dry apricots, diced

How to make apricot and marzipan loaf cake

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a loaf pan. Mix the orange juice and dried fruits. Mix the butter, sugar, honey, and egg.
  • Mix in the egg, vanilla essence, and orange zest. Beat until smooth. Mix in the milk. Continue to whisk. Now Mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the dry fruits and the flour mixture. Bake the batter in the loaf pan for 25 minutes. Take the loaf out of the oven and let cool in the tin for about 5-8 minutes before serving on a plate. When the cake has cooled completely, then dust it with icing sugar.
