- 1 1/2 medium-sized Washington Apples
- 1 1/2 Medium Green Washington Apples
- 200gms Shortcrust pastry
- 3 Tbsps Toffee Sauce + for Drizzling
How to make apple sponge with toffee sauce
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the red Washington Apples into quarters. Then, slice each quarter into 3-4 pieces. Transfer to a bowl.
- Cut the green Washington Apples into quarters. Then, slice each quarter into 3-4 slices. Transfer to another bowl.
- Mix well.
- The shortcrust pastry should be rolled into a 1 cm thick sheet.
- Place the red and green apples coated with toffee on a lined tray. Drizzle some toffee sauce over the top.
- Bake the tray in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Take the tray out of the oven and remove it from the pan.
- Slice into small pieces and heat.
