Basic ingredients for vegetarian sausage rolls
- To make the sausage rolls, you will need 1 medium-sized sweet potato
- Roast at 160C/320F for 40 minutes
- 1 medium carrot grated
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 Tsp dry ground chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 TBsp ground mixed herbs
- 1 Vegetable stock cube
- 1 Thumb-sized piece of Parmesan
- 1 roll of puff pastry purchased from a store 170ml
- For the ketchup, you will need 12 tomatoes chopped roughly
- 55ml or 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 pinch salet
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of cinnamon Tabasco sauce to flavor
How to make vegetarian sausage rolls
- Place all ingredients on a baking sheet. Bake at 160C/320F for about an hour. Keep stirring.
- After this time, the moisture will have evaporated. The tomatoes will be slightly dried and roasted.
- Take the tomatoes out of the oven, and then blitz the sauce in a blender.
