Basic ingredients for mary berry cottage pie with cheesy mash

  • 3 Large Potatoes
  • 400g Brown Lentils
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 Pepper
  • 400g Mushrooms
  • 400g Can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 3 Tsp Paprika
  • 3 Tsp Basil Salt & Pepper
  • 3 oz Cheese Butter

How to make mary berry cottage pie with cheesy mash

  • Boil the potatoes for approximately 20 minutes. Peel, chop, and boil. To soften the pepper and onion, chop them and fry on low heat for five minutes.
  • Mix tomatoes, tomato purée, basil, paprika and s & P, mushrooms, lentils, and pepper in a bowl. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Spread the mixture over the vegetable cottage pie mixture.
  • Mash the potato with butter and cheese. Bake at 180C for 50-60 minutes, covered with foil.
