Basic ingredients for cottage pie with cheesy mash
- 3 Large Potatoes
- 400g Brown Lentils
- 2 Onion
- 1 Pepper
- 400g Mushrooms
- 400g Can Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
- 3 Tsp Paprika
- 3 Tsp Basil Salt & Pepper
- 3 oz Cheese Butter
How to make cottage pie with cheesy mash
- Boil the potatoes for approximately 20 minutes. Peel, chop, and boil. To soften the pepper and onion, chop them and fry on low heat for five minutes.
- Mix tomatoes, tomato purée, basil, paprika and s & P, mushrooms, lentils, and pepper in a bowl. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Spread the mixture over the vegetable cottage pie mixture.
- Mash the potato with butter and cheese. Bake at 180C for 50-60 minutes, covered with foil.
