How to make gnocchi recipe in a very simple and easy way.
Basic ingredients: –
- One kg potatoes
- Half tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- One egg
- 190-250g all-purpose flour
For the sauce
- 2-3 tsp Olive oil
- One onion
- Two garlic cloves
- 800g tomato sauce
- 8-10 basil leaves
- One tsp dried oregano
How to make a gnocchi recipe?
Put a big steel pot on the gas and we will put one kg of potatoes in it and we will put water in it. We will boil these potatoes well on medium-low heat.
We will leave it covered for a while and after having a good potato bowl, we will take it out in a big bowl. With the help of hands, these potatoes will peel off.
After this, we will mash it well and after creaking One egg, add half tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Add 1/4 tsp nutmeg.
We will combine this mixture well, we will add 190-250g all-purpose flour. With the help of hands, we will make this mixture smooth and soft.
This prepared dough will be cut into four parts. Roll out each part into a long rope, about one inch wide.
After this, we will do about half-inch slices of these rolls and roll them well with the help of hands. If you want, you can make a shape with the help of a focke.
How to make tomato sauce?
Put a nonstick pan on the gas and put 2-3 tsp olive oil in it. Put one chopped onion and saute it for four to five minutes.
Will put two chopped garlic cloves and saute it for two to three minutes too. Add 800 g tomato sauce and mix it well. Eight to ten basil leaves and one tsp dried oregano.
We will cook it for five to ten minutes. After this, we will place a pan over the gas, and in that, we will boil a little water. We will cook our prepared gnocchi batches in this boiled water.
when they float to the top gnocchi are ready. After it is ready, we will take it out on a plate and put it in our prepared tomato sauce. We will cook it for one minute.
Add 1/4 cup pasta butter and mix it well. Our gnocchi recipe is ready, after this, we will serve Parmesan cheese by putting it on.
