- 100ml milk
How to make Cheese scones?
Take a baking tray and we will grease it well with butter. Preheat your oven in 200 ° Celsius 400 ° Fahrenheit gas mark 7.
In a mixing bowl, we are going sieve in the flour, one tsp baking powder adds half a tsp mustard powder, and mix it.
Adding in the butter and mix it well with the help of hands. Add in the seventy-five grams hard cheese and mix well with the help of a wooden spoon. Add the One beaten egg into the 100ml milk and mix it with a fork.
Adding this milk and egg mixture into the dry ingredients and mix it slowly. With the help of hands, you will take this dough well. Roll out on a floured surface.
Keep in mind that our dough should be one inch thick and not too thin. On this, we will dust a little flour.
With the help of a biscuit cutter, you will cut this dough into a round shape and place it on a baking tray.
Brush with remaining milk mixture and sprinkles with remaining cheese. Bake in your oven for ten-fifteen minutes now our Cheese scones are ready.
Tips: If you do not have self-raising flour use plain/all-purpose flour and add two tsp baking powder for every one cup of flour.
