How to make a chocolate pound cake is a very simple way.
Basic Ingredients: –
- one cup (250groom temperature) unsalted butter
- 250g granulated white sugar
- half tsp vanilla extract
- four large egg (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocco powder
- 1/4 hot water
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- One tsp baking powder
- half tsp salt
- Two tablespoon milk (room temperature)
For chocolate glaze
- 90g chopped chocolate
- Two tablespoon butter
- One tablespoon honey
How to make chocolate pound cake?
In a large bowl, add one cup (250groom temperature) of unsalted butter and beat it at medium speed. Will beat until it becomes a smooth batter.
Add 250g granulated white sugar and one and a half tsp vanilla extract and beat it in five minutes Take four large eggs (room temperature) in a bowl.
Add these eggs to this mixture one by one and beat them. Mix 1/4 cup unsweetened cocco powder and 1/4 hot water in a bowl mix it with the help of a whisker. keep it at room temperature and leave it.
We will beat the mixture of this cocco powder by putting it in the batter of our eggs. After this we will prepare the dry ingredients, put the sieve on top of a bowl and we will put 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour in it.
Add 1 tsp baking powder and half tsp salt and mix these dry ingredients with the help of a whisker. After this, we will put all this purpose flour mixture in our prepared butter and cocoa powder batter.
We will beat it at medium speed, add 2 tablespoon milk (room temperature) and beat it. Grease the cake pan with butter and add parchment paper in this cake pan.
We will transfer our prepared batter to this cake pan and spread it. We will preheat the oven at 350 degrees f and bake for about 1 hour.
How to make the chocolate glaze?
Now we will prepare chocolate glaze for the top and put 1 inch of water in a pan and boil it. Take a bowl and in it, we will add 90g chopped chocolate and 2 tablespoon butter and place it on boiling water and melt the butter and chocolate.
One tablespoon honey will be added, after melted, it will be cooled slightly. Take out the cake in the oven and keep this technique for 15 minutes at room temperature to cool down.
