strawberry custard tart

Strawberry Tart with Vanilla Custard cream is a delicious and fresh dessert. This dessert is great any time of year, but especially in spring and summer. The combination of strawberries and vanilla custard cream is my favorite. You can also use raspberries and other berries.

Basic ingredients for strawberry custard tart

  • Tart crust: 200g flour
  • 75g Sugar
  • 100g Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Custard cream: 2 eggs
  • 150g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 500 ml Milk
  • Syrup: 50g sugar
  • 75ml water
  • 2 Tbsp lemon Juice
  • 500-600g Strawberries

How to make strawberry custard tart

  • First of all, Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the butter, egg, and vanilla essence until the dough comes together.
  • Place the dough in the refrigerator for 1h.
  • The dough should be rolled and placed in a baking pan. Add rice or beans to the dough by covering it with parchment paper. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes. Bake the rice for 10 minutes more.
  • Make the cream. Mix the cream in a bowl. Continue to stir the hot milk. Mix the mixture in a saucepan. Continue to heat on low heat until it is smooth.
  • Place the cream in a bowl. Let it cool.
  • Make the syrup: first of all, In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and lemon juice.
  • Now turn the heat to low and boil for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Spread the cream in the tart crust.
  • Decorate with strawberries. After this, Keep it in the refrigerator for at least two hours!
