Basic ingredients for smoked haddock lasagne

  • Make Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala 3 tbs
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tbs
  • Lemon juice 3 and 1/2 tbs
  • Chicken fillet 350g
  • Cooking oil 2-3 Tbs
  • Coal to smoke Prepare
  • Red Sauce:Cooking oil 2-3 tablespoons
  • Onion chopped 2 Medium
  • Garlic chopped 1 and 1/2 tbs
  • Tomato puree 1 1/2 Cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 Tsp
  • optional -Chicken powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1/2 cup or according to your requirements
  • Make white sauce: Butter 2 tbs
  • All-purpose flour 2 tbs
  • Milk 1 & 1/2 Cup
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken Powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Assemble: Lasagna sheets (boiled until 3/4th done)
  • Cheddar cheese grated
  • Mozzarella Cheese grated
  • Capsicum (Onion), julienne (Capsicum), sliced
  • Dried Oregano (Red chili), crushed. (Salt) 1 Pack

How to make smoked haddock lasagne

  • Make Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken tikka masala with ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Stir well. Mix the chicken fillets, cover, and let marinate for 15 min.
  • Add cooking oil to a grill pan. Grill the fillets until they are cooked through. Give charcoal smoke 2for minutes. Let it cool.
  • Cut the mixture with a knife.
  • Make the red sauce: In a saucepan, add cooking oil, and onion & mix well. Add garlic to the mixture and cook until translucent. Mix in tomato puree. Mix well with salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and red chili crushed. Mix well with water.
  • Now Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat. Remove from heat.
  • Make white sauce: Add butter to a saucepan and let it melt. Add all-purpose flour and whisk for one minute. Add milk and whisk well. Add black pepper powder, chicken powder, dried oregano, and salt to the mixture.
  • Mix well, cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Assembling: Add & Spread prepared red sauce to a baking dish. Next, place lasagna sheets and then spread the red sauce.
  • Add chicken, spread prepared white sauce, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, capsicum, onion & dried oregano. Add lasagna sheets, red sauce, smoky chicken, and white sauce to the lasagna sheets.
  • Baking in a Pot:Add 1 package of salt to a pot. Place a steamer rack/wire rack at a minimum of 2 inches high and heat on a medium flame for 15 min. Bake the lasagna on a baking sheet. Cover and bake for 12-15 minutes. Baking in Oven: Bake in the oven at 180 C for 20-25 mins. Cut into slices and serve!
