Basic ingredients for wholemeal orange cake
- 1 1/4 cups Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt a pinch
- Wet Ingredients Milk & Oil 1/2 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence 1/2 cup
- Orange (kinnow) 2 small
- Orange zests (deseeded, pureed with skin) 3/4 cup
- Caster sugar 1 Tbsp
How to make wholemeal orange cake
- Pre-heat the OTG to 180° Celsius in bake mode. After this, Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease it. Combine the orange zest and sugar with all other ingredients.
- Combine all dry ingredients. After this, Mix the dry ingredients with the wet. Combine well and place in a baking dish. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Now Set it aside to cool on a wire rack. Decorate with orange slices and caster sugar. This moist cake is best enjoyed with a cup hot of coffee.
