- Unsmoked Gammon, about 1.6kg 150g (5oz) light brown soft sugar
- 500ml (17 FL 0z), cider
- 2 bay leaves
- 10 peppercorns
How to make unsmoked gammon recipe
- Place half of the sugar in the slow cooker. Then, add the gammon. The rest of the sugar can be rubbed over. Add the cider to the gammon.
- Add the peppercorns and bay leaves to the gammon. Cover the slow cooker with a lid. Cook on high for 4 hours. Remove liquid from the slow cooker. Serve warm or cold with mash, greens, crusty bread, potato salad, or mustard.
