Basic ingredients for peach upside down cake
- Topping: Freshly sliced peaches 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c unbleached wheat
- 2 ts baking flour
- 1/2 ts salt
- 6 tbs soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 room-temperature eggs
- 1 ts Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 c fresh peach juice
How to make peach upside down cake
- Melt the butter in a pan and add the sugar. Let it bubble and blend. Place the fruit slices on top.
- Now Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Mix the butter and sugar in a separate bowl for 5 minutes.
- Add one egg at a while to the mixture with the vanilla. Add the juice. Mix the dry mixture in 3 additions. Don’t overmix. Now Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
