- 3 cups crushed blackberries or raspberries (I crush mine by putting them all in a cup/bowl and using a spoon to smush them together)
- Sugar, 3 cups
- Lemon juice, 3 teaspoons
How to make blackberry jam recipe
Blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice are cooked in a small pan on high heat for five minutes. Reduce the heat and simmer for fifteen more minutes. Skim the foam off and store in a heat-proof container. The jam will thicken as it cools.
