- Egg- 4 ( At room temperature)
- powdered Sugar-1 cup it’s is equal to 3/4 cup regular granulated sugar.
- Salt-1/4 teaspoon
- Baking soda-1/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder-1 &1/2 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder-1/2 cup (50 g)
- All-Purpose flour/ plain flour-1 cup ( 130 g) Vegetable Oil-3/4 cup (180 ml)
- Vanilla Essence-1&1/2 teaspoon
How to make a chocolate sponge cake?
We will take a big bowl and put the sieve over it and put it in all Purpose flour / plain flour-1 cup, Baking powder-1 & 1/2 teaspoon, Baking soda-1/4 teaspoon, one pinch salt, and Cocoa Powder-1 / 2 cup.
Will filter these dry ingredients well and mix with the help of a whisker. Take a bowl and put 4 eggs (At room temperature) in it and beat it for about 1 minute with a blender at low speed.
After this, we will add a powdered sugar-1 cup (it’s equal to 3/4 cup regular granulated sugar). Add in 3 batches and beat until frothy and add Vegetable Oil-3/4 cup.
Add Vanilla Essence-one and a half teaspoon and beat on low speed for one minute. Mix the dry ingredients and fold gently
After our batter is ready we will take this 6 “baking pan. Greased and lined with parchment paper. You can use 7” and 8 “pan as well.
We will transfer our prepared batter to this baking pan and tap it well with the help of hands so that there are no air bubbles in it.
Bake in a preheated (180c for ten minutes) oven at 180c for 30-35 minutes. After bake let’s cool completely and now our chocolate sponge cake is ready to enjoy it.
