Easy to make a plum cake recipe is a simple way and unique method
Basic Ingredients: –
- Almond flour -100gms
- Brown sugar-400gms
- Soaked Dry Fruits-1200-1300gms
- Baking powder-2 tsp
- Baking soda -1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon powder-1/2 tbsp
- Vanilla -1 tbsp
- Caramel sugar-300gms Egg-6
How to make a plum cake recipe?
Soaking the dry fruits in advance you can soak in rum, brandy, grape juice, or any other juice. In this Recipe, I am using rum and soaking for five to seven days. you can soak for a day or week, or month as per your choice.
How to make caramel syrup?
heat 300g of sugar on a low flame and keep stirring to prevent burning. When the sugar melts, keep the flame low add one cup of boiling water
add water carefully and very slowly be cautious while doing this step. Add a few drops of lemon juice and boil for two to three minutes.
We make dry ingredients sift 400 grams of flour in large bowl. Also sift 100 grams almonds powder add 2 tsp baking powder,1/2 tsp Baking soda, Cinnamon powder-1/2 tbsp, and sift all dry ingredients together.
Keep aside all dry ingredients for later use. In a bowl, take 400 grams unsalted butter and 400 grams brown sugar. Separate 6 egg yolks from whites beat the egg whites until soft peaks.
Beat sugar and butter together until soft and creamy. Start adding egg yolks and beat until creamy. Add one tbsp vanilla essence and beat again. Add 300 grams of soaked dry fruits and mix well with a spatula.
Transferring to a bigger bowl so that it’s easy to mix dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients in batches keep mixing and adding dry flour. Mix 200grams of chopped nuts (cashew and walnuts).
Add the egg whites and mix with a spatula. Add caramel syrup and mix well line up baking trays extra hanging over sides. I used 8 inch round cake mold to fill this mixture into mold 3/4th leaving enough space for the cake to rise.
Bake in preheated oven 150c (300f) for 40 minutes or until a skewer instead comes out clean and when bake cools it for 10 minutes. Now plum cake recipe is ready enjoy it.
