cinder toffee recipe mary berry
This bubbly, sweet treat will please everyone who has a sweet tooth.
This may be called cinder toffee (how I know it), hokey pokey, or sponge toffee.
The basic recipe is the same, and it’s delicious no matter what you call it!
- Sugar 1/2 Cup
- Water 4 to 5 tbsp
- Baking Soda 1 tsp
- Melted Chocolate
How to make cinder toffee recipe mary berry
- Make caramel from sugar and water until it turns golden.
- Mix in Baking Soda.
- Place it on a tray lined with butter paper, and let it rest for two hours.
- This can be broken into small pieces and dipped in melted chocolate.
