How to make chicken curry with coconut milk
- Cut the chicken into small pieces 500gms
- Marinate with: Salt 1 teaspoon
- Red Chilli powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Nutmeg paste 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste 1.5 tsp
- Other Ingredients: Onions, sliced 2 medium (150gms),
- Tomatoes os 2-4 tbsp.
How to make chicken curry with coconut milk
- Marinate the chicken pieces using the items listed. Put the chicken pieces aside for 30 minutes. Now Cut the tomatoes and onions into small pieces.
- Chop the mint leaves and coriander leaves. You can either make thick coconut milk from scratch or buy ready-made thick coconut water in shops.
- In a large skillet, heat oil, and then add the chopped onions. Sauté the onions on medium heat for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
- After this, add the marinated chicken and chopped tomatoes. Mix everything and fry for 5 minutes on medium heat.
- After this, Cook on low heat for another 5-10 minutes, or until the tomatoes become soft and the oil separates. Add 4 tbsp thick coconut milk and 200 ml water. Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cover and cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Garnish with chopped coriander.
